Gareth Taylor and Chris McShane have been friends and musical collaborators for many years. As well as being accomplished musicians and songwriters they also perform live at gigs, parties, festivals and special events of all kinds.
Alongside original songs and instrumentals, they also perform covers from across the decades including Rock, Folk, reggae and much more. They write a wide range of instrumental music suitable for all kinds of media, film and advertising.

A familiar face on the Folk, Ceilidh and Ukulele scene, Chris is a popular performer, dance caller and workshop leader. A multi-instrumentalist (guitar, tenor and G banjo, mandolin and ukulele), Songwriter, composer and arranger, Chris is an alumni of the University of Huddersfield, and holds a Rockschool Licentiate Teaching Diploma.
Gareth is a seasoned singer/songwriter specialising in piano, accordion & keys. He has had numerous songs published and recorded on both sides of the Atlantic, and his experience in performing encompasses classical, folk, jazz and musical theatre.
Gareth is a Bachelor of Music graduate of Birmingham University and studied as a postgraduate at Bretton Hall in his home county of Yorkshire where he has remained ever since. He is married to Rachel and has two daughters.”
